Job description
We are looking for a Stocker to join our team at our retail store. The Stocker will be responsible for ensuring that merchandise is properly stocked, organized, and displayed in the store.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks
- Organize merchandise on shelves, racks, and displays
- Ensure that all merchandise is properly labeled and priced
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Assist with cashiering duties as needed
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing paperwork
- Operate POS system for sales transactions
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and restocking items as needed
- Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed within given deadlines
- Use retail math skills to calculate discounts, markups, and profit margins
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures is a plus
- Ability to operate POS system accurately
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Strong time management skills
- Basic understanding of retail math

Salary: £7.57-£10.42 per hour
