Elite Lockers Ltd is looking for a Logistic Coordinator to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities
LOGISTICS PLANNER
Seeking to recruit a keen and ambitious person responsible for the scheduling of contracted delivery vehicles distributing through-out the UK an assortment of steel storage equipment manufactured on site here in Oldham. The job entails optimising each delivery with a choice of correctly sized vehicles, ensuring available vehicle loading space is fully optimised for deliveries into designated geographical areas within agreed lead times. The person will be part of a team of people processing customer orders while also working closely with production personnel and the sales office ensuring the correct paperwork is created and order details are correct and where necessary booking deliveries with the end user. The job also entails liaising with pallet delivery companies plus parcel carriers.
The person will be required to learn the necessary skills to ensure the customer is offered a first class customer experience. A friendly telephone manner and good communication skills are essential. We offer a pleasant working surrounding within a busy and friendly office environment, excellent location with good transport links and off-road parking.
Elite currently employees approx. 70 people and continues to grow in prominence within the storage & handling industry. Total hours per week is 37.5 hours, 5 days a week.
