Job Description
-We are looking for an innovative and energetic Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Lightbox and take our logistics and distribution operations to the next level. As Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating key day-to-day administrative and operational tasks within the areas of logistics and distribution.

Working closely with members of the Operations Team, as well as the Ecommerce, Commercial and Finance Teams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Lightbox's logistics processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will regularly interact with the operational teams of key Lightbox suppliers across jewellery manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing.

Key responsibilities of this role include organising international and domestic shipments of lab-grown diamonds and jewellery, monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery, and overseeing all inbound shipments processed at our warehouse in a timely fashion. You will also handle inventory of samples across multiple locations and coordinate wholesale distribution and returns.

To succeed in this role, you must have at least a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or an alternate discipline and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience. You should have experience preparing customs documentation and booking international shipments, as well as working in a busy stock control team within a retail or manufacturing business, managing complex inventory movements.

You should be highly organised and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Experience using inventory management systems and online order processing systems is beneficial, as are medium to advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with diamond and jewellery manufacturing operations.

Qualifications
-Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and/or a bachelor’s degree in an alternate discipline and at least 3 years relevant work experience

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge (3 years+) in preparing customs documentation and booking international shipments; must have experience dealing with international customs regulations
  • Experienced (3 years+) working in a busy stock control team, within a retail or manufacturing business, managing complex inventory movements
  • Experienced working with external suppliers in warehousing and/or manufacturing
  • Instore retail and customer service experience, background in jewellery and/or luxury retail beneficial

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Self-starter, takes initiative and responsibility for driving own performance
  • Well organised with a high level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge of customs, INCO terms, international shipping standards and inventory management principles
  • Medium to Advanced Excel Skills; as a minimum, the candidate should be confident with vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables and maintaining existing reports on Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and able to communicate effectively with a range of internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Experience using inventory management systems and online order processing systems such as Shopify, NUOrder and EDI is beneficial
  • Flexible, ability to adapt to change and work to tight deadlines under pressure
  • Customer centric
