Logistics Co-ordinator

We are looking for a brilliant Logistics Co-ordinator to join us and support with our international expansion. Working as part of the operations team you will report directly into the Head of Operations and will be responsible for ensuring all our goods make it safely to the right warehouse and then on to our customers around the world.
As a Logistics Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Working with freight forwarders to ensure all goods arrive safely and efficiently into our warehouse or other distribution centre
- Understand and apply appropriate duties and taxes for all imported stock orders and exported customer orders
- Communicating all updates on stock arrivals with key business partners
- Finding and working with the most effective couriers to ship orders around the world
- Working with the warehouse team to effectively plan all key logistics projects or busy periods
- Working with the Head of Ops to negotiate shipping rates for all key couriers
- Supporting with logistics arrangements for trade fairs and events
- Monitor shipping costs and invoicing for accuracy and opportunities to drive efficiencies
- Working with the Head of Ops to find suitable alternative logistics partners and hubs in key territories
- Ensure all systems are up-to-date with accurate shipping information and integrations
- Prepare logistics reports to assess performance and efficiencies
- Ensure all import or export paperwork is accurate and up-to-date
- Look for opportunities to drive efficiencies across the logistics department
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years working in logistics
- An understanding of international Taxes and Duties
- A strategic mindset and ability to think outside the box
- Strong Excel and numeric skills
- A passion for retail and sustainability
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Details
Location: minimum 2-3 days a week based in Edinburgh between our Newbridge warehouse and Leith studio
Hours: Mon-Fri, flexible hours between 8am-6pm
Salary: £25-32k depending on experience
