Duties
- Serves as central point-of-contact for the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) to ensure incoming equipment is posted to accountable property records, issued to hand receipt holder and posted to hand receipt records.
- Conducts extensive fact gathering and analysis of information in the resolution of discrepancies.
- Maintains a suspense file for all outstanding requests, which includes the latest delivery date.
- Assists the Security Assistance Management Directorate Hand Receipt holders in preparing turn-in documents, turn-in of equipment, hand receipt updates, and other equipment-related functions.

- Position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a government driver's license.
- This position requires TDY travel 25% of the time or less.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Specialized Experience: One of specialized experience which includes establishing and maintaining a supply room in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and SOPs pertaining; conducting inventory analyses, considers supply posture inclusive of all activity such as due in, due out, lead times and establishes reorder points and stock levels; hand receipts, operating and performing property book transactions utilizing Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) and/or Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS); reviewing and evaluating proposals to determine adequacy of supplies and services within the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
