The Seals and Bearings business of Morgan Advanced Materials makes high-performance self-lubricating bearing and seal components, predominantly used in pumps, industrial and domestic, or other sealing applications.

Responsibilities:
OVERVIEW OF ENGINEERING & SCOPE OF ROLE:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILIITIES:
Learn how to install, repair and carry out planned maintenance of company equipment to company specifications- Undertake an appropriate engineering apprenticeship, completing set modules on time and attending college as necessary
- Work shadow a colleague and develop an understanding of workshop procedures through on the job training
- Attend manufacturers training and other training courses as appropriate
- Learn company administrative procedures, and how to complete worksheets, timesheets etc.
- Ensure security and correct use and issue of all tools and spares issued
- Understand and adhere to all company, legislative and Health & Safety procedures
- Under close supervision, ensure all work undertaken meets industry and company work standards
- Undertake other duties which the company may from time to time reasonably request

Good self-management- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Excellent analytical skills/ability to solve problems quickly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educated to GCSE, Grade 5 or above in Maths, English and Science.- Advanced Apprenticeships will generally be structured over 4 years, combining training with a local College and work- based learning and experience.
