Manchester Physio specialises in musculoskeletal, neurological and paediatric physiotherapy services, mainly providing input in outpatient clinics and occasionally in client homes, workplaces and inpatient rehabilitation units. We are looking for an associate musculoskeletal physiotherapist to join our expanding team.
The position will entail working as an autonomous practitioner, managing your own caseload of musculoskeletal clients. This will involve completing musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessments, treatments, offering advice and education and writing clinical reports for self paying clients, insurance companies and third parties. You may be required to liaise with other health care professionals, carers and relatives and provide training. In addition to the above, participation in specific CPD or developmental activities linked to the organisation will be offered.
The Ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Diploma/Degree/Masters degree in physiotherapy.
- HCPC registered.
- Member of CSP.
- Minimum of 2 years of varied musculoskeletal experience.
- Experience in the rehabilitation of patients back to sporting activity.
Our ideal candidate will be a confident and independent musculoskeletal physiotherapist, with strong clinical abilities and excellent communication and organisation skills. They will be passionate about providing the highest quality evidence based treatments and achieving the best possible results with clients, as well as committed to their own continuous professional development.
The successful applicant will be a dedicated, personable, honest and reliable individual, who is proactive, creative and flexible in their approach. They will work effectively under pressure and be capable of managing their workload and competing priorities appropriately. They will also be professional in manner and demonstrate a good awareness of the CSP code of conduct and other relevant physiotherapy guidelines.
