Job summary
We are currently recruiting for two PMO Analysts to work on a remote basis to support our internal Programme team, and PMO Lead in delivery, including co-ordination, planning, control, reporting, analysis as well as providing expert support and advice to corporate project activities.
These roles require organised and diligent individuals with previous experience working in a PMO or similar role, having additionally gained hands on knowledge using a variety of resource management and collaboration tools whilst also working with Azure DevOps. A strong understanding of IR35 rules is essential, along with the ability to confidently engage with a variety of stakeholders.
Established in 2019, Livestock Information Ltd has an ambition to enable a more sustainable and competitive meat and livestock sector through its single, modern, and efficient traceability service. The service aims to eventually replace three existing livestock movement services in England and become an important national tool to better control endemic livestock diseases.
Working in partnership with both industry and government, Livestock Information ltd successfully launched its sheep, goat and deer movement service and livestock identification service earlier this year. Livestock Information Ltd is a data led organisation and is taking a new approach to capturing and unlocking data to drive positive changes in livestock productivity and sustainability.
These positions are available on either a secondment basis or as a permanent post. Both options are Home Based, with occasional travel for meetings.
Job description
- Provide expert support and advice to corporate project activities to include planning, reporting, risk management, resource management and forecasting
- Ensure PMO related policies, procedures and standards are maintained, communicated, and executed by the project teams, including consistent use of tooling across the organisation
- Collaborate with other departments to define, prioritise and scope projects
- Support Projects in the adherence to the best practice and mandated process, proactively assuring that accuracy and quality is of the highest standard throughout
- Provide continuous review and evaluation of projects
- Provide project status reports and supplementary information as required
- Support internal and external audit, and production of any data, analysis, reports or other relevant inputs
- Maintain the corporate governance schedule and associated
- Create and manage Governance forum inputs and outputs including active management of Action Logs, and liaison with outstanding action owners to ensure the actions are being delivered and closed
Person specification
- Proven experience as a PMO Analyst or in a project support or equivalent role, ideally having worked on large, multiyear programmes within a public sector environment or within the private sector working with multiple external Stakeholders
- Knowledge of agile working practices, with experience of using Azure DevOps or similar tool, along with resource management tools (ie fieldglass)
- Strong understanding of IR35 rules
- Proficient analytical skills and the ability to understand, interpret and present finance and resource data
- Experience of day to day management of service provider contracts and deliverables
- Experience using Miro or similar collaboration tools
