Purpose of Role:

The main purpose of the job is to provide high quality and efficient customer service to our customers through the administration of customer's orders and logistics.

Main Accountabilities:

•To receive, process and confirm customer’s orders for distribution in the UK and to Europe and the rest of the world.

•To arrange collection and onward transit to customers by coordinating with warehouse and hauliers to manage product movements.

•To process and prepare export and import documentation and liaise with customs agents to ensure timely clearance.

•To ensure that loading paperwork is accurate and the correct labelling is available when shipping dangerous goods.

•To liaise with Credit Control and Sales team as required to ensure that credit blocks are resolved to allow on time delivery.

•To build strong links with our customers through regular dialogue and ensure that relevant feedback is passed on to the Sales team.

•To ensure that all month-end procedures are completed according to deadlines.

•To assist with order documentation, ensuring documentation is compiled as required for deliveries to take place.

•To provide support with any departmental projects.

•To ensure that Synthomers Health and safety policies and rules are adhered to.

•To maintain required databases with accurate and timely data.

•To maintain price lists in SAP.
