Purpose of Job Role
To provide general administration to the Operations team, ensuring that the department administration tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This role will provide administrative support to the Warehouse to help with completing daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of process documentation
- Maintaining the sales order inbox
- Distribute information to the operations department
- Reply to email and confirm the movements
- Creating the sales on the system, mirroring the planning sheet
- Populating the online spreadsheet with new orders; due date, customer, sales rep, from, to, part number, source, quantity
- Creating folders and organizing sales on our local drive
- Ensuring all order documentation is stored correctly
- Keeping in constant communication with the outbound leadership team
- Completing operations markers monthly
- Coordinating with Import/Export manager to ensure correct travel documentation is in place
Required
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Analyzing and data reporting skills
- Ability to use and navigate Excel
Desirable but not necessary
- SAP Software understanding preferable.
- Logistics knowledge
- Experience booking shipments through DHL and FedEx
- Logical interrogation of spreadsheet data in Excel
- Previous administration or Warehousing background
- Product knowledge in Telecommunications.
