Job description

This is a Monday to Friday Role between the hours of 07.30am and 16.30pm.

We are looking for Logistics Administrator for our Fareham Operation. In this role you will support the Operations team with inventory management assisting smooth operation of the supply chain function. This role would ideally suit someone with experience in a similar role or a strong administrator with a keen eye for detail.

Duties

  • Monitoring transportation systems for delays in shipping that could affect projects or customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinating freight shipments with carriers such as shipping or trucking companies
  • Assessing the feasibility of new products or services that could improve operational efficiency or customer satisfaction.
  • Researching new technology that could improve operations efficiency.
  • Scheduling delivery of goods using computer software applications to track items in transit or warehouse storage locations.
  • Coordinating with other departments within an organization to ensure that orders are filled correctly and on time.
  • Making sure that all company records are up to date and accurate.
  • Planning inventory levels.
  • Order processing for direct from supplier orders shipping to Armorgard subsidiaries.
