DESCRIPTION
- Liaising directly with distressed trading desk and PAR Closing TA’s for relevant closing documentation to support internal trade closing.
- Ensure that trade documents are prepared and executed appropriately, trades are booked in Loan IQ according to information on executed trade documents, and preparation of trades booked in Loan IQ.
- Maintain the team's risk control framework, including the recurring documentation of key risks and controls and execution of risk control self-assessments. o Represent the team on weekly and monthly risk calls in which key performance and risk indicators are reviewed and escalated to Senior Management.
Provide recurring and ad-hoc support to trading desk.
Reconciliation of high value incoming and outgoing cash proceeds ensure funds are correctly allocated internally and paid to the correct instructions externally.
Responsible for CLO builds, working closely with SPV desk and external clients for the approval and distribution of funds
Manage multiple inboxes receiving client and investor inquiries to mitigate reputational and financial impact associated with delayed responses.
Ensure accurate and efficient approval of loan servicing transactions and trade closing transactions along with corresponding reporting.
Building deals in LIQ which have been traded on the secondary market – Reviewing Credit Agreement docs to ensure accurately built internally.
Liaising with BU and FCG on rebooking of restructured secondary positions and processing of distressed and bankruptcy claims.
Management of department projects, including the coordination and documentation of business requirements, test scripts, and implementation plans.
Support team manager with the ongoing coaching and development of junior team members acting as first point of contact in the absence of team manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of loans market preferred but not essential.
LoanIQ experience preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrates great attention to detail.
Excellent organization skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines, with an execution focused approach.
Ability to drive change, identify and execute efficiencies across team functions.
Can identify key control points within a process, and provide assessment of the preventative and detective control.
A self-starter who takes individual ownership of their work quality and improvement.
Analytical skills with ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile variances.
Great focus on risk management and escalation.
Promotes a culture of accountability and control, drives understanding and searches for lessons to be learned.
