Weekly Pay
Working Hours Midnight until 9.00am
Unloading articulated trailers, physical fitness required, manual lifting
Loading drivers vehicles, attention to detail needed
This is a full time permanent role not Zero Hours or Short Term
Must be reliable, hard working and enthusiastic
Using hand held scanners to scan freight, both inbound and outbound. Your working week starts at Midnight Monday evening / Tuesday Morning and finishes at 9:00 am on a Saturday Morning
Tuesday to Saturday (Start Monday Night at Midnight, Finish Saturday Morning 09:00)
Overtime after 42.5 hours a week
You will work as part of a good team of staff, unloading trailers and reloading either 7.5t vehicles or 3.5t vans. Physical fitness is a must so is attention to detail and a good sense of humour. You will report to the Shift Manager / Supervisor. The hours are job and finish so the harder and quicker we all work the less hours you will need to work yet still gaining the same pay rate, detail is of the essence as mistakes are not an option. The team you work along side will ALWAYS help and assist you will not be alone or feel left out.
Coffee / Tea is provided FOC and not the machine stuff, all in all even this equates to more savings every day
We are one of the market leaders within the Overnight Freight and Parcel sectors, we specialise in larger items, long lengths, timber and pallet deliveries around the Home Counties. You must be physically fit and able to work under pressure while maintaining a great level of detail. You will be required to unload items from our inbound trailers check the items weight and also the volumetric size so as to protect the company revenue and safety of the outbound vehicle before loading the outgoing delivery vehicles ready for the morning driving shift.

Responsibilities:
- To ensure the safe and efficient off loading / loading of company and customer vehicles as directed.
- Scanning all goods for visibility
- Manual handling experience would assist
- Good communication skills
- Physically Fit
- Be able to work well as part of a team
- MUST be Reliable
- Ensure a high level of degree of detail and focus.
- Check the declared weight adjusting where incorrect
- Adjust freight for volumetric charging
- Load drivers vehicle, an eye for detail will be required
- Comply with all aspects of the company H&S policy in the safe use of manual handling equipment.
- Handle all goods with care and attention.
- Enforce all company rules and regulations Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
- Use correct equipment and methods for handling of goods.
- Ensure the security off all goods and company assets.
- Undertake tasks as defined by supervisor staff and management
