Position: Load Planner
Location: Ebbw Vale
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 11:00am - 19:00pm

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Plan loads into the daily schedule
- Making best use of backhauls where possible, using planning systems to maximise profit
- Maintain routing database, use DiPS planning tool to produce accurate costed schedules whilst maintaining Service excellence.
- Work with the depot teams to ensure the optimised plan is delivered
- To continually develop the tactical transport/planning operation through generation of ideas & suggestions that improve key KPI performances, in areas such as schedule development, cube per load, kms and fleet efficiency

- Experience using Teams, Outlook, Microsoft Office (strong Excel) essential
- Excellent communication skills (phone, email, etc.)
- Experience and knowledge of planning systems an advantage
- Previous Transport environment desirable
- Planning and forecasting desirable
