Independence Way is a semi-independent provider of accommodation and bespoke support for 16 to 18-year-olds. We are seeking Live in Support Workers to join our friendly team, working within Semi-independent accommodations.

Who we are looking for:
· A calm, adaptable and enthusiastic person
· Someone who can support our young people gain vital skills such as cooking, house-keeping, shopping, budgeting, arranging appointments, etc
· Someone with the ability to work both alone and as part of a team with young people
· An organised individual with good administration skills who can write good reports
· Someone with the ability to safeguard our young people and knows when and how to raise concerns
· Ability to take deliberate initiatives to develop appropriate relationships with young people, some of who may present with behaviours that challenge, so as to understand their needs and feelings and respond to them accordingly
· Ability to build positive relationships with external agencies and stake-holders including social services, education providers, YOTs, etc.
NOTE: Please note that this role requires the successful applicants to live and work in the accommodation for at least 7 days at a time.
