Live-in nanny to two children in Cardiff Radyr, Wales
Job description
A lovely family in Cardiff are looking for a live-in nanny 6 days a week for their 2 children, a 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl.
Their ideal nanny is engaging, proactive, affectionate and loving towards the children. Both parents are doctors, so they require a nanny who is happy to be flexible.
Both of the children are quite social and outgoing. Their 3 year old son may be quite shy at the beginning, but he is quick to warm up to someone new! He is currently in nursery on a part time basis, for 2.5 hours on 3 days of the week and the other 2 days being full days. Their 1 year old daughter is a happy and easy-going baby, she is still in the early stages of developing her own personality, and she is currently in nursery for 2.5 hours on 2 days of the week.
The family are looking for a nanny who would start in the morning by giving the children breakfast and getting them ready for nursery, doing the drop off, and spending the day doing general light housekeeping duties such as maintaining tidiness in the house, taking out the rubbish and doing the children's laundry. When the children are at home, the nanny would be making their lunches, taking them to the park or doing some activities with them, and putting the youngest down for her naps. Then it's cooking a healthy dinner.
Since the nursery is a 10 minute drive away, they require their nanny to be a confident driver.
The accommodation would be your own room and a shared bathroom with the children.
This is a Monday-Saturday role, 7am-8pm with a yearly salary of £38,000-42,000
