Job description
A busy family home and fully staffed household, our clients are looking for someone who has exacting standards, a keen eye for detail and is able to work autonomously, as well as within a team. An expert in all household cleaning and laundry, you will need to have excellent knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine fabrics and finishes. You will be a team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a professional and discreet demeanour.
Prior experience within a high-net-worth household is essential, and any prior experience in formal service would be beneficial as well. Working five days per week, including over weekends, you will work in a shift pattern with the other housekeepers, either covering the early or late shifts with two consecutive days off in the week.
Live-in accommodation will be offered on-site in a private en-suite double bedroom.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
· Laundry and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics and ironing
· Making beds and changing bed linen
· Packing and unpacking for the principals
· Polishing silver and glassware
· Greeting guests and offering refreshments
· Flower arranging
· Managing stocks of cleaning products
· Rubbish and recycling management
· Ad-hoc duties as required
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Prior housekeeping experience within a private household
· Fluency in spoken English
· Eligibility to work in the UK
· A hardworking, dedicated team player
· High attention to detail and exacting standards
· Flexibility with hours and duties
· Able to work independently
· Trustworthy and reliable
· Excellent checkable references

Salary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
