Job Title: Live-in Care Assistant (Female Only) £1,000 / Week
Location: Ipswich Area
Pay: £1,000 / Week
Here at A Class Care we are looking to recruit experienced, caring, and passionate Live-in Carers to join our dedicated Team of Support Workers in the Ipswich Area to care for and support vulnerable people.
A Class Care have a “Good” CQC rating, with an aim to achieve outstanding as soon as possible! We pride ourselves on delivering first class care to our clients and offer in depth and bespoke training packages to our Live-in Care Team.
We are seeking dedicated Live-in Carers passionate about enabling our Clients to live the very best of lives by promoting independence through person-centred care.
To ensure we have the right Live-in Carer for each of our clients we make every effort to match your experiences and specialities (such as Dementia, End of Life, Mental Health etc) with the right client ensuring a mutual match.
Your day-to-day duties would include:
- Supporting and assisting with all personal care needs
- Listening and providing companionship to our clients
- Observing and reporting any changes in the health of the clients
- Help with food and drink
- Responding to emergency situations
- Prompting and administering of medication
- Accompanying and transporting clients to appointments and/or social events
- Providing client support with hobbies and other activities
So far so good? This is who we’re looking for:
- A caring and compassionate individual
- Good understanding of Person-Centred Care and MCA/Dols
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within care
- Good spoken and written English
- Car driver essential (Manual)
- Enhanced DBS on update service
- Happy to work in a home with cats
