As Live-in Care Professionals, we receive high levels of support from the local office which is always available for advice, guidance and practical support when needed. As a team we all have input into decision-making and help to shape care plans and care arrangements, so that our voices are heard and taken seriously. We have improved the lives of many individuals with compassionate care that gives them a sense of purpose and wellbeing.
We have been caring for a wonderful older woman near Warminster. This lady is German and English speaking, intelligent and highly educated. She loves reading biographies, listening to classical music and doing sudoku and puzzles. She is intent on keeping her mind healthy and active! Due to circumstances her mobility has been impacted and now is on a path of rehabilitation to regain her strength.
We are helping this wonderful woman to keep active, engaged and live a quality life at home. The location is Warminster, Wiltshire.
- Starting salary of £805 per week
- 3 meals per day or a food allowance of £50 per week

As a Live-in Care Professional, we reside at the client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them remain safe, confident and relaxed. This includes meal preparation, assisting with medication, helping with personal care and assisting her to keep doing her hobbies. Most importantly to provide a listening ear and engaging companionship.
Live-in Care professionals provide companionship and care during the day, usually between 8am and 8pm. There is a 2-hour lunch break every day at an agreed time. We have our own separate room with full wi-fi access and are provided with 3 meals a day or a meal allowance of £50 per week. We are not required to provide care overnight. We have continuous daily contact and support from our team leader. We will typically work on a 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off rota.
Live-in care allows for slow, authentic care with enough time for real companionship and opportunities to make a real difference to this person's life.
What you need:
- Live-in care experience is preferred but not essential
- Empathy and a willingness to make a difference to someone's life is more important.
- Personal experience of caring for a friend or relative is ideal.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- The rest you need to know will be taught through our accredited training.
- English speaking.
- Driver preferred.
