Everycare Cardiff are recruiting for a live in carer.

The Job
Working in the Sully area of Vale of Glamorgan, you will be living with a lady in her 80's who has the on set of dementia, it will be your responsibility to offer one-to-one daily support to our client in a variety of ways based on her individual circumstances. But your most important job of all will be spending time with her, keeping her company, ensuring she is comfortable and meeting her daily needs.
The normal rota for this placement will be two weeks on two weeks off, you will have a minimum of 2 hours off each day (usually in the afternoon).
Please note that the client has requested a female live in carer for this placement.
Placement due to start Monday 6th March 2023 paying £750 per week.
A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is useful but not essential for this role.
Who we are looking for
You should be reliable and resilient, ready to take on the challenges this role presents. Friendly, flexible and fluent in English, you will have first-class communication and listening skills.
Experience
You must have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Live in Carer for this role (we cannot include experience of looking after family members).

Placements local to our Eastbourne office to ensure on hand support
