Job description
Carers are the beating hearts of Berkeley Home Health. With a supportive team behind them, Live-in Carers help our clients who might be elderly or vulnerable to live safely in their own homes where they feel most comfortable.
We love making sure our clients have everything they need. But we also make sure our live-in cares have everything they need, too. If you want to learn and develop new skills, we’ll support and nurture you as you grow. If you’re searching for a workplace where you can be yourself, we’re proud to encourage it. And if your ambition is to build a long and rewarding care career in a place that’s warm, welcoming and friendly, then this could be the perfect home for you and your future.
It’s somewhere you can really put your heart into everything you do.

As a live-in carer, you’ll live with a client 24 hours a day. You’ll usually spend a minimum of 7 days in a client’s home, but rotas can be several weeks depending on how you want live-in care to fit with your lifestyle. It’s all about spending quality time with your client as you provide personalised and individual one-to-one support.
Activities might include:

- An ability to follow instructions and care plans
- A good level of English, both verbally and in writing
- A driver’s licence is an advantage - if you drive for a client it will be in their own vehicle and their insurance will cover you
