Location: Warton

Salary: £45,326 - £49,834

What you’ll be doing:

• Responding to business needs raised by the Engineering function, documenting the business situation, the requirements, the proposed solution recommended by the System Design Authority and the associated costs.
• Investigating business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity and adopting a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities
• Contributing to the selection of the approach and techniques to be used for business situation analysis, engaging, and collaborating with operational stakeholders
• Defining and managing scoping, requirements definition, and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

• Have demonstrable experience of leading successful business analysis activities on large programmes of work
• Communicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences when engaging with colleagues, users/customers, suppliers and partners
• A proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

Desirable

• Industry recognised qualifications such as British Computer Society’s International Diploma in Business Analysis, Prince2, ITIL certification
• Familiarity with engineering tools such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Computer Aided Design (CAD), and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join the Engineering Systems Competency Centre (ESCC). This is an exciting and challenging role, which will present the opportunity to contribute towards the delivery of Engineering IT solutions for the world’s most advanced military aircraft.
