Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Live-In Health Care Assistants to join our pool of talented and compassionate professionals. Our clients are seeking individuals who can provide support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation, in a live-in capacity. The successful candidate will reside in the client's home for the duration of their assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Help with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior
- Ensure the client's comfort and safety
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
- Administer medications as directed
- Collaborate with other members of the care team, including physicians and family members, to ensure the best possible care for the client
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a health care assistant, home health aide, or similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and caring personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to live in the client's home
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
