Location: Bristol or London (hybrid):

Salary: £60,000 - £85,000 per annum

Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?

You'll be joining the Kaluza Finance Operations team. We're responsible for all the day to day operations of Finance in Kaluza (think Accounts Payable, Treasury, Accounting). We are looking to build out our FP&A function and this role would be leading the development of this function.

The FP&A Manager role will be reporting to the Financial Contoller, working closely with the Financial Operations team, but also heavily with our Business Partner team and key stakeholders across the business during financial forecasting periods.

The Finance Operations team is split across Bristol and London offices, we work in a flexible hybrid way, both from home and the offices.


What will I be doing?

Your responsibilities will include:

  • You will be responsible for the daily management of Group's Financial Planning & Analysis providing robust, timely and informative financial information
  • Annual Budget and Long Term Planning processes and systems
  • Preparation of Quarterly Group Forecasts and supporting narrative
  • Preparation of cash forecasts
  • KPIs and monitoring of the financial health of the group
  • Ad hoc Reporting and monthly financial variance analysis

We operate on the Workday platform, with Adaptive Insights being our planning tool. You will be provided with training on the use of the platform and also Workday/Adaptives own training programmes to be able to fully utilise this tool.


Is this the job for me?

Ideally you'll have/be

  • Qualified accountant with experience gained extensively in a reporting / management accounting environment
  • Advanced data management and financial modelling skills
  • Strong analytical and report writing expertise
  • Proven track record of business partnering/external stakeholder management with non-finance functions
  • Energy or Tech Start Up knowledge and background desirable
  • Collaborative/pragmatic management style with strong influencing skills who operates in an open and transparent way
  • Able to manage competing demands, adaptable, hands-on and detail oriented
