Home Instead Senior Care is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people.
We are looking for a Live in Care Pro with a kind, compassionate heart who wants to make a true difference in the quality of life for our clients in Rotherham as a Live In Care Pro.
As a Live In Care you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them remain independent in their own home. Your duties may include:
- Providing company and companionship
- Supporting clients with personal care, such as getting up, washing, dressing, and continence
- Helping with mobility
- Administering medication
- Light housekeeping such as cleaning, cooking, laundry and ironing.
- Preparing and cooking healthy meals.
- Caring for special conditions such as dementia.
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Live in Care. However, it would be useful to have some experience working in a care setting or interacting with older people with Dementia. This could be a personal experience of caring for a family member or a voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
As a Live In Care, you will get paid from £120- £143 per day and we will provide a daily food allowance. You will have a separate room to stay in and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition comprehensive training and support.
