JCB Sales is looking for a Sector Sales Manager to join the team.

Scope of the Role:

With the increasing range of electric machines, and our Industry Solutions and Waste/Recycling offering, we are planning significant sales and profit growth in these sectors as part of our 5-year plan. We are looking for a dedicated Sector Sales Manager to work with the regions to identify and implement sales and market growth strategies to achieve our ambitious growth plans.


About your role

  • You will collaborate with the Product Growth and Regional teams to execute plans that deliver sales growth in line with 5 Year Plan for Industrial & electric / zero emission products.
  • You will be responsible for gathering and analysing data to help inform balanced Sector sales & commercial pricing strategies by product which will then be shared with the commercial and sales management team to deliver.
  • Travel to Regions to meet with customers and dealers, to present the product & its benefits vs. the competition in the sector.
  • Support in the development of robust sales strategies for new and existing products.
  • Support in defining the relevant industrial & zero emission NPIP programs, to ensure product brief & launch timing is met.
  • Liaise with Marketing department to ensure sales and marketing campaigns are aligned to the product strategy.
  • Provide relevant feedback to JCB Business Units on product performance, market information & customer satisfaction.
  • Support regional sales teams with applications studies and implementing strategies.
  • Ensure applicable regional product demonstration activities are planned and supported where required.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of competitive landscape including sector, commercials, pricing, and specifications.

About you

  • We'd like you to be somebody who has excellent attention to detail, who is a well organised, dedicated team player that is able to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • IT literate, with strong Excel and PowerPoint experience.
  • Sense of urgency is required with a positive attitude to be able to solve problems quickly as issues arise.
