Right at Home Havant & Petersfield is looking for a Live In Care Assistant to join our team.
We have several opportunities for experienced Live-in Carers in and around the Emsworth, Havant, Petersfield, Waterlooville, and Hayling Island area on the south coast for short and long term placements.
Our clients are looking for experienced Live-in Carers who speak fluent English, who enjoy rustling up a healthy meal and who will support them to stay living in their own homes, making a real difference in their lives. Car drivers would be preferable, but this is not essential. We provide on-going training and weekly support calls.
What do we offer our Live In Carers?
- On-going support and professional training.
- Daily rate of £108 (inc. holiday pay) equates to £3,024 per 4 week period.
- Holiday Pay is paid in full and at the time (not when accrued for holiday)

- A family feel team with great communication.
- Weekly visits from Live In care Supervisor to check on your welfare
What does being a Live In Carer involve?
- Helping clients with their every day tasks.
- Offering companionship on a one-to-one basis.
- Managing different medical conditions like dementia.
- Household duties, cooking, cleaning and general running of their home.
Live In Carer requirements:
- At least 6 month's experience in care work.
- Fluent English and basic writing and reading skills.
- The right to work in the UK. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
- DBS on update system or willing to apply for new DBS.
- Basic cooking skills.
- Patient and caring nature.
