What is Live in Care?
Live in care is caring for someone in their own home 24/7. Providing that person with the utmost care and support as per the inviduals needs and requirements. You are essentially a family member to the individual you are providing care to in each package.
What is your role?
We are looking for experienced and caring individuals to join our Team here at MHC Group. We have a variety of placements available with varying individual needs, from clients that require care in bed to those that are more mobile and able. We aim to match you to a package that suits both our staff and clients to ensure a good working relationship between both parties. When in placement it is your duty to meet the needs of each individual as set out in Person Centred Care plans, administer medication, attend to personal care needs, support with preparation of meals and on occasion to assist with feeding. On occasion you may be responsible for monitoring of pressure sores, fluid and food intake and catheter care.
About you
We are looking for applicants that are caring by nature. We endeavour to employ applicants that go the extra mile and would care for our clients in the way that you would care for a loved one. For some of our clients you might be the only person they have interaction with so an outgoing personality is essential to your role, as is patience and empathy.
Experience/Qualifications
Care experience isn't necessary but is preferred given the nature of the role you will be undertaking as a live in carer here at MHC Group. Ideally you will have completed the Care Certificate. Mandatory training is provided in house to successful applicants, this is online and face to face.

For those that agree to work 4 weeks on and 1 week off or 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off we will reimburse travel costs provided you can evidence with appropriate receipts.
