Learning and Information Services (LIS) require a Customer Services Assistant to join the team that operates multiple front line service desks, library operations and numerous work streams, including telephone, email and chat functions.
The role holder will provide excellent customer service to all students, staff and external visitors to support teaching, learning and administrative functions of the university. LIS has a wide and varied service portfolio (including library, IT and Media) that makes this role both demanding and varied.
The role will suit someone who can deliver exceptional customer service, is adaptable, confident with IT and is highly customer focused.
The successful candidate will be educated to A Level (or equivalent) and have recent proven experience working within a similar environment. The ability to work effectively with others in a team environment is fundamental to this role, as well as the ability to work independently and manage their own workload.
Troubleshooting experience and exposure to a helpdesk ticketing system would be highly advantageous.
