Role
This is a strategic, commercially focused and high profile role, reporting into our International Chief Finance Officer. The role sits at a corporate level having interface with treasury, product and relationship management functions that provide liquidity solutions for our clients.
Major duties
- Responsible for the design and implementation of client liquidity management and deposit pricing strategies through thorough analysis of relevant data.
- Perform and communicate findings from detailed competitor analysis.
- Drive technology solutions that support greater precision in how we support and enable client liquidity management.
- Utilises knowledge of the bank's products and services to analyse complex client needs and to recommend liquidity solutions that enhance the clients' productivity or profitability.
- Assist business units with the design and implementation of new liquidity products.
- Support relationship managers and business development teams with the management of client enquiries.
- Apply liquidity expertise in support of corporate forecasting, risk management and liquidity-related regulatory requirements.
- Perform detailed competitor analysis.
- Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of liquidity management products and services.
- A solid understanding of bank Treasury activities, including balance sheet, liquidity and interest rate risk management.
- Analytical and problem solving skills are required to understand and build liquidity solutions for clients.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills are required to communicate with clients and partners.
- Proven treasury and/or liquidity experience, preferably with direct client contact.
