Job description
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. The shift pattern is 5/7 includes unsociable hours.
The post holder will provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies.
The post holder will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to lead and enable the district nursing team to provide a quality nursing service.
The post holder will be a registered nurse who will support the district nurse in delivering care to patients within the caseload.
The post holder will be responsible for providing skilled nursing interventions for patients within the caseload
The post holder will manage delegated activity within the caseload, and provide support to other members of district nursing team
