Lighting Design Engineer
Rexel UK are currently looking to recruit a Lighting Design Engineer to cover part of our southern region. This is a great opportunity to join a specialist team, where you will learn new skills and expand your product knowledge.
The Role:
As a Lighting Design Engineer for Rexel, you are responsible for:
- Grow and develop existing and new business within Lighting Design
- To achieve the sales budget and CPM for the selected area and customer base
- Collaborate with all key stakeholders required to achieve sales targets and grow the customer base
- Contribute to the effective operation of the business through active collaboration in activities required as a senior member of the business team.
- Provide management with required reports, information and feedback to contribute to the effective strategic planning, budgeting and performance management of the business in agreed formats and within agreed timeframes.
- Ability to work with and develop business opportunities in multiple market sectors – eg FM / Rail / Utilities / Merchant / Large Regional and National Construction Companies / Specific Construction Site Project / Niche Markets / NHS
The Person:
To be a Lighting Design Engineer for Rexel, you will need:
- Lighting design background
- Experience of working within a target driven environment
- Experience of working with lighting suppliers will help but not essential
- Strong stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Knowledge and level of proficiency in the use of IT software packages required, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
This role is a FULL TIME - PERMANENT POSITION and we offer a pension, life assurance and 25 days holiday.
