SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
  • Lift Supervisor for heavylift and transport projects
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience and tickets held
  • Working from our HQ in Thornaby, UK with regular travel required


As a Lift Supervisor you will be at the forefront of lifting operations. The primary role of Lift Supervisor will be to oversee and preparing for the lifting of heavy items in accordance with local regulations and in a safe and efficient manner.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, all positions are contract to permanent. We are open to receiving applications from candidates based throughout the UK. Please note, on occasion you may be required to attend our Teesside and/or Hixon Depot.

We are looking for candidates who are looking to secure a long-term, permanent career with Mammoet. We invest heavily in the training and development of our staff in order to help them progress therefore longevity is incredibly important to us.

Travel throughout the UK and Europe will be required.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Overseeing the lifting and installation of loads
  • Overssing rigging - using hoists, cranes, lifting gear, pulleys and jacks to lift and move items
  • Working at height and operation of cherry picker
  • Rig and de-rig oprations for Mammoet plant and equipment specialised to Mammoet
  • Operation of other hydraulic equipment
  • Liase and communicate regulary with Operations/Site Manager
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with legal, company and client regulations
  • Complete daily checks of all plant equipment in your care
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • CPCS Lift Supervisor, Slinger/Signaller tickets.
  • CCNSG certification
  • Relevant working at height qualification
  • Forklift tickets
  • Experience in a similar role
  • The ability to plan, organise and work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Able to work as part of a team and assist in job requirments
  • Open to leaning new techniques and procedures
  • Willingess to travel both nationally and internationally for extensive periods
