We are looking for friendly and observant people to ensure all members and customers enjoy a safe and fun time whilst using our leisure facilities.
Leisure Team duties include:
- Supervise and control bathing sessions, ensuring the safety of swimming pool users and co-workers at all times and any equipment being used.
- Carry out water rescues if required in compliance with National Rescue Standards (NaRS) / Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) training.
- Carry out and administer First Aid as and when required and ensure you always comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
- Ensure training is up to date in line with STA/NaRS recommendations and staff training is attended where required.
- Ensure all daily paperwork is completed at the required time and filed in the appropriate order.
- Courteously assist customers to the best of your ability at all times.
- Maintain lockers, cubicles and lighting within the swimming pool area.
- Operate the ‘banding’ system at peak times to control the numbers of bathers.
- Ensure that the correct Company uniform is worn at all times when on duty and that PPE is worn when necessary.
The successful candidate must hold RLSS NPLQ lifeguard certificate and be a confident swimmer.
This is a position with full or part-time vacancies. Candidates must be able to work variable hours including weekends and Bank Holidays.
