Salary: £11.00 per hour
Contract Type: Seasonal (May to November)
Hours: Full and part time positions available. Our Leisure facilities (indoor and outdoor pools) are open 7 days per week and shifts can be between 8.00am and 7pm.
Location: Golden Coast Leisure Park, Woolacombe, North Devon, EX34 7HW
About the Role: Our Lifeguards & Leisure Team are responsible for assisting all visitors to the Leisure facilities on park, undertaking lifeguard duties for the pool, and completing tests and records in line with legislation and safety standards. This role is key to ensuring that we can provide the quality facilities that our guests expect, so they can relax and have fun in a safe and well-maintained environment.
About the Person: We are looking for someone with experience as a lifeguard and an up-to-date lifeguarding qualification (NPLQ or similar). You will need to be enthusiastic, friendly and able to work unsupervised.
Above all, you will need to have the right attitude. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and so we expect you to do everything in your power to make their Verdant experience the absolute best it could possibly be. We don’t believe in ‘that’s not my job’ so you will need to be adaptable and flexible to help the wider park team meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
As this role involves working with children you will be required to complete a DBS criminal records check, the cost of which will be met by the company.
