The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Graduate will collaborate with our international business units and stakeholders within the organisation to conduct LCA and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) on our products. They will be required to cooperate across internal departments (R&D, Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, etc.) and external stakeholders (Customers, Suppliers, Merchants) for progressing key environmental areas (GHG Emissions, water use, air contamination, etc.) The candidate will also be expected to communicate their findings to educate and influence strategic and operational decision with their findings.
5 KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Cooperate across local and international departments and locations, within and outside Bosch Thermotechnology
- Elaborate life-cycle inventories on our product value-chains to support the development of our sustainability database in collaboration with product management, R&D, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics and sales teams
- Analyse and prepare visualisations for communication of key results on the environmental footprint of products and technology improvements within our product portfolios
- Communicate the findings to educate and influence strategic and operational decision through data driven approach
- Review and follow-up on regulatory frameworks and customer expectations on LCA
Degree in environmental (engineering) sciences, process engineering or comparable, preferably with project(s) developed on carbon footprint and/or LCA calculations. Knowledge on LCA standards, modelling and software tools desirable (e.g. GaBi or Umberto)
Will be joining enthusiastic and target driven sustainability team to work towards project deadlines. Able to identify risks and opportunities and adapt communication style to convey these to a range of stakeholders.

Expected Start Date: May 2023
Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1-hour unpaid lunchbreak.
May be required to travel nationally and internationally.
