The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in one of the busiest and most popular Library Services in the country. The Hampshire Library Service has 40 sites, which welcome over 4.8 million visitors to our facilities annually. We have a large team of core staff and volunteers delivering services both in person and across digital platforms.
In the role of Library technician, you will report to the relevant area manager and work Countywide. You will lead in maintaining high quality, safe and innovative buildings and equipment. It is essential that you have a ‘can do’ attitude and are flexible to respond to a range of diverse tasks and projects. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a good standard of IT, be able to use your own initiative as well as being able to fulfil the travel requirements of the role. You will need a clean driving licence and two years driving experience as you will be required to drive the luton van daily.

A full induction and training programme will be provided.
