Library Assistant (Customer Services)
Swansea campus (hybrid working with travel to other locations as necessary)
£22,681 to £24,533 per annum pro rata

We are now looking for a Library Assistant to join our team on a part time, permanent basis, working 18.5 hours per week.
- THE ROLE –
To provide an excellent standard of service to our customers and visitors, encouraging them to explore and make use of our services, supporting them in achieving their full potential. As this is a customer focused role, you will need to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
- ABOUT YOU -
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Good standard of general education, e.g., at least GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
- Evidence of a positive, flexible approach to, and experience in delivering consistently excellent customer service in a busy environment.
- Experience of dealing with enquiries using different channels, e.g., phone, email, live chat.
- Effective team working skills
- IT Literacy, a good knowledge of using core IT systems e.g., Microsoft applications, email and internet.
- Ability to carry out tasks that involve physical effort and dexterity.
