Cambridge University Libraries are looking to appoint an Information and Library Manager, based in the Department of Geography. This is a full time, permanent position. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work within a stimulating and diverse environment, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students and academic staff with their information needs.
Supported by the Library and Information Assistant, you will manage the main departmental library in Geography, taking responsibility for reader services and collection development. You will provide information literacy training and research support. You will be responsible for library advocacy, including use of social media, and will be involved in departmental engagement and outreach activities.
You will be the Department's information management specialist, supporting systems for learning, teaching and research reporting.
Reporting to the Head of Physical Science Libraries you will be a key member of the Physical Sciences Libraries team, and will be involved in library initiatives across Cambridge.
