Are you a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills? Are you looking to join a growing and successful team at a well-respected estate agency? If so, Chase Evans is seeking a Lettings Administrator to join our Aldgate office.

In this administrative role, you will be responsible for managing the paperwork involved in new tenancies, answering tenant queries, arranging check-ins and inventories, and serving as a point of contact for the Lettings department. You will also be responsible for chasing outstanding business and ensuring that it is transacted efficiently. On a daily basis, you can expect to:

  • Collate and manage tenant references and ID documents
  • Send out tenancy documentation and answer tenant queries
  • Arrange check-in appointments and inventories
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Property Management department with office/file queries
  • Chase outstanding business and ensure it is transacted efficiently
  • Update files daily
  • Handle email correspondence

To be successful in this role, you should have at least one year of experience as a Lettings Administrator within a Lettings Agency or experience as lettings negotiator, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and good IT skills and knowledge of the current rental legislation.

You should also have a friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to work well under pressure. Your excellent organizational and prioritization skills, as well as your ability to work under pressure, will be critical in managing these tasks and supporting the growth of our lettings business. You will also be expected to maintain a professional demeanor at all times and be a team player, working collaboratively with your colleagues to achieve common goals.
