What you’ll be doing!
As a leisure receptionist you will consistently deliver exceptional customer service on every shift, and strive to go above and beyond for every guest and member. You will be positive, proactive welcoming, friendly, professional and have a great personality and find it seamless to interact with both hotel guest and members so they have a more personal experience. You will be involved with all areas of the leisure club and be available to answer any questions, and interact with hotel guests and members on a daily basis. Taking ownership of beauty and fitness bookings and being involved with new promotions for membership along with beauty treatments. Generating new interests of membership enquiries, attending regular promotional events to drive all revenue streams and be enthusiastic with new ideas to promote the leisure club. You will take pride in your hotel and strive to deliver a fantastic guest experience every time. Achieving heartbeat scores as a team through guest’s experience is of the upmost priority of the role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming each guest into the leisure club and providing full details of the facilities available.
- Dealing with enquiries and taking bookings for tours, beauty treatments and fitness programmes.
- Processing memberships on the membership system and checking member accounts, keeping up to date with payments.
- Interacting with the guests to ensure they have a great experience whist at the hotel and existing members.
- Communicate with the team and have regular input in team meetings and continue to improve our service.
- Report any health and safety issues to the manager.
- Completing daily checklist and ensuring the reception area is clean and tidy.
- Complete weekly stock counts of retail.
- Pool testing and overseeing head counts of the pool.
- Always putting the guest and member needs first, being perceptive and personable to their needs.
