Legal & Compliance
Legal & Compliance is a diverse and inclusive team that provides pragmatic and sustainable business-minded solutions to achieve Nokia's key objectives, always with high integrity.
The team you will be a part of
You will be part of Nokia's award-winning Labor & Employment Legal team which sits within the Legal & Compliance Function. L&E supports the Nokia People organization and the businesses by delivering pragmatic solutions to complex legal challenges across Nokia's global workforce.
What you will learn and contribute to
Our internship will offer you the chance to experience life as a lawyer at Nokia.
You will shadow experienced legal professionals and gain insight into the day-to-day reality of working in the in-house legal function for a global employer.
You may be asked to conduct research, prepare drafts of advice and participate in meetings with the team and with our stakeholders across the business.
You will be set an assignment where you can share your insights on your experience of Nokia's workplace culture and can thereby enhance your project management and presentation skills.
Your skills and experience
We are interested in hearing from you if you are:
- studying a vocational course or qualifying via the CILEX route; and/or
- you are the first in your family to study law; and/or
- you consider that you will bring a fresh perspective to Nokia's Legal Function.
It would be nice if you can:
- Demonstrate your commitment to pursuing a career in law
- Evidence your capacity to understand complex legal challenges; and
- Show an ability to handle nuanced people matters with sensitivity.
