Legal Document Drafter Bury, North West England, England
Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a growing team in a stable industry. The Willwriting Partnership is an award-winning company established in 1999. The head office in Bury services a nation-wide team of consultants that help people to put their legal affairs in order with wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and other estate planning services.
This position will be based in the office, with opportunity to work from home from time-to-time. The successful candidate will be trained to operate our bespoke software and client relationship database, and will primarily be focused on the drafting of wills and lasting powers of attorney from instructions received from our consultants.
A high attention to detail will be needed along with a strong competence in English, with a focus on spelling and grammar. We do not tolerate low-quality draft documents, so applicants should be confident about their ability to perform in a busy office as part of a team, and must be willing to take full responsibility for the quality of work they produce.
Candidates will need to be familiar and competent in their use of technology, in particular with Microsoft-based applications such as Windows, Word and Excel.
In addition to the drafting of documents, the successful candidate will need to be able to communicate competently with clients by phone, email and letter.
Whilst experience in the legal industry and specifically the estate-planning sector would be desirable, training can and will be provided to help the successful candidate achieve success in this position.
Salary will be based on experience.
