The Team
Joining an established, small and ambitious team you will be responsible for overseeing the review and negotiation of legal documents as well as providing legal advice to the underwriting/operation teams on mortgage origination documents.
You will be comfortable with fielding initial queries knowing when to escalate and when to take ownership.
You will support other functions including HR, Sales and Compliance and you will be resilient, personable and confident when engaging with colleagues at all levels of the Company.
Your new role will be varied and innovative. Working in a small team will allow you to make a difference to the department and company and being autonomous in your new role and dealing with complex legal issues as well as managing multiple external stakeholders will mean you will be a SME for your area.
Maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders will be crucial to your success in this role and you will be encouraged to utilise your experience and knowledge in a dynamic environment.
If you have demonstrable financial services experience from a mortgage lending environment and have the desire to get involved with a broad and varied workload, then we would love to hear from you.
