FasterPay is looking for a Legal Associate who wants to level-up their career in the payment industry. If you are highly motivated and have experience in legal, we are hiring for a Legal Associate to join our team in London.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and Legal Review of various legislation of foreign jurisdictions;
- Assist in the drafting of contracts and review of legal documents;
- Assist in the Incorporation of legal entities;
- Contact external parties and negotiate on behalf of the company;
- Coordination and collaboration with the team members on various ad hoc projects within the field of Law and Regulations;
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements;
- Answer Data Protection questions from external and internal parties;
- Conduct Trademark registration across diffrent jurisdicitons.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Law from an accredited university;
- 1-3 years professional experience in international company/environment;
- Knowledge in Corporate, Contract, IP, Data Protection and/or Tax Law (banking law and the law relating to non-bank credit organizations is a plus);
- Ability to work under limited supervision, proactivness and ability to accept personal responsibility for tasks;
- Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills;
- Advanced command of English (reading, writing and speaking).

Salary: £13.00-£21.69 per hour
