Swift Placements are currently recruiting on behalf of our specialised Legal 500 client, with offices in Shrewsbury, Bromyard, Conwy, Hereford, Ludlow, Oswestry & Telford. Due to ongoing growth within the company, an exciting opportunity to join the team has arisen for a Legal Support Assistant. This role is based in our client’s Conwy office and offers a competitive salary depending on experience.
Job Role:
We have an opportunity for a legal support assistant within our Private Client Department based in Conwy.
As part of our progressive and forward thinking firm you will assist lawyers by providing secretarial and administrative support.
Key Duties:
- Communicating with existing and potential clients.
- Working under supervision on various aspects of a file, including preparation of files and documents and attending clients to deal with queries or updates.
- Responsible for all areas of administration, including time recording on client matters and ensuring time is billed where applicable.
- Use a high degree of self-management and initiative, maintaining a highly professional, efficient, confidential and friendly manner, ensuring a quality service to clients is always achieved.
Experience:
- Experience working within a busy and professional team orientated environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Word with the ability to work across a range of IT platforms.
- Previous legal experience is not essential as full training will be given.
