The role is a remote role with occasional attendance at an office required.
Purpose of Role
Whilst working for our client, you are to deliver a customer-focused, cost-efficient litigation services for handling litigated Motor Damage claims. Pro-actively handling technical and complex third-party cases in an efficient and effective manner. Support with resolving disputes and managing litigation to achieve business objectives and meet the defined customer service proposition.
Key Aspects of the Role
Gather and accurately analyse appropriate information in order to make the best business decision aligning with the total and/or partial resolution of clients needs.- Assist with claimant solicitors in order to achieve overall key performance objectives.
- Assist in providing legal advice and assistance in a professional manner.
- Assist with managing litigated files in accordance with client protocols.
- Contribute to the delivery of the key performance targets by achieving own objectives effectively e.g., productivity, leakage, budget, fraud, and service targets as appropriate to the Team.
- Effectively use the Firm’s case management system to ensure data held is accurate and up to date.
- Follow agreed processes, policies, and procedures to ensure quality and service standards are met and leakage is minimised.
Skills and Attributes
Qualifying Law Degree or equivalent- Educated to GCSE level C/4 or equivalent in five subjects, including English and Mathematics
- A litigation handler with some experience in an insurance or legal based environment handling third party motor damage litigated claims.
- Pro-active attitude
- Ability to take ownership
- Good understanding of the litigation process
- Experience using an “enabling” case management system
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
