KMB Law, LLP is seeking an IT Service Desk Support Analyst with at least 2 years of Law Firm experience.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Corporate Legal Assistant
Reports To: Practice Coordinator - Corporate
PROFILE:
Description
The successful candidate would assist in complex transactional, corporate reorganizations and commercial contracts. This position will be working aside a well-established team.
Hours of work are from 9 am to 5 pm. The successful candidate may be required to work outside of normal business hours to meet business and client needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support for daily administrative tasks, as required
- Lawyer and Law Clerk docketing
- Perform conflict checks
- File management
- Assist with closing agendas
- Monitor deadlines and tickler system
- Calendar management
Required Knowledge and Experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years working as a Legal Assistant.
- Previous exposure to law firm or professional services environment is highly preferred.
- Knowledgeable in using and supporting Windows 11, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 2016 or later, MS 365, or other document management systems, Web-based phone systems, Conferencing software, remote access systems (Citrix and VPN), and mobile devices (iOS and Android) etc.
- Familiarity with legal practice group legal software e.g. OnCorp, FastCo etc. and case management and/or accounting management systems e.g., Prolaw, Accumin etc. would be beneficial.
- Customer service oriented.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Proven agility and resilience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal oriented, very organized, and willing to take ownership of customer requests.
- Excellent follow through, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Law Firm experience is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
