The Role
This Top 100 Legal 500 firm is seeking a Legal Executive to join their Dispute Resolution team in London, with flexibility for home working.
The team advise on a broad spectrum of leading disputes matters, advising clients from smaller investors through to multinational organisations.
As a Legal Executive in the team, you will run a high-volume caseload of disputes for a large institutional landlord client, with matters ranging from property disputes, commercial disputes, insolvencies, and debt recovery.
(while it is not necessary to have experience in all of these areas, experience across multiple will be preferred;)
In this role, you will be a key client contact for general queries and reporting on current matters, as well as providing advice on the disputes process.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Executive to join a busy and successful practice, running matters for one of the firm's largest clients!
You will take on a varied caseload, handling disputes at all stages through the process and practicing ADR.
Requirements:
- Qualified to CILEx level 6
- Significant experience handling either:
- commercial disputes;
- property litigation; and/or
- debt recovery
- Ideally strong experience of working with large commercial landlords and/or agents;
- Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and the end-to-end disputes process;
- Able to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of seniority, both internally and externally;
- Able to work well under pressure and in keeping with deadlines;
- Excellent attention to detail; and
- Strong IT skills.
