The Opportunity
The Legal Assistant will be pivotal in supporting our corporate legal team in Ottawa. In this role, you will be working closely with our Legal Team in ensuring that effective legal support is provided to the senior management team and key stakeholders. You will be part of a legal team that is hardworking, dedicated, and supportive.
Key responsibilities of this role include, at a minimum:
- Drafting legal documents:
- Managing files and documents:

- Providing administrative support:
- Maintaining confidentiality:
Requirements
- Between 1 to 2 years professional experience as a legal assistant preferably in private practice environment
- Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Resourceful and motivated to learn new skills
- Proficiency with computer applications including real estate software and Teraview
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Willingness to learn and be coached.
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of team
- New or recent graduates possessing the above skills may be considered for this position.
